Welcome to the Mississippi Regional Housing Authority No. VIII website.

 

We will begin accepting online pre-applications for Section 8 Tenant-Based Voucher waiting list on January 30, 2018 at 9:00 am.  Applications will be limited.  The online application waiting list will automatically disable once the limit has been reached.  Applications will be processed by the date and time submitted.  Applicants must be at least 21 years of age at time of application or legally emancipated.  Proof of emancipation as of date of this application will be required at the interview appointment.

This pre-application does not obligate you or MRHA VIII in any way.  Eligibility for income limits, criminal activity, money owed to PHA’s, and other criteria will be determined at a later date.

 

You MUST have the following information available for each family member before you begin the application process:

 Last name, First name, middle initial

 Mailing Address

 Phone number

 Social Security Number

 Date of Birth

 Income information for each family member

 

ASSISTANCE FOR ONLINE APPLICATIONS IS AVAILABLE FOR ELDERLY AND PERSONS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS BY CALLING THE APPLICATION HOTLINE AT 228-831-1977.
